Since 2015, Flyation has proudly organised India’s first Interschool Aeromodelling Competition, creating a unique platform for school students to showcase their talent, creativity, and technical skills in aeromodelling and aviation science. Introduced with a vision to bring innovation, hands-on STEM learning, and aviation awareness into school education, the competition empowers students to design, build, and fly their own model aircraft while applying real-world principles of physics and aerodynamics.

About the Competition

The Flyation Interschool Aeromodelling Competition brings together students from various schools to take part in a challenging and inspiring aviation event. Participants design and build their own model aircraft, showcasing their understanding of flight through practical performance and technical presentations. Continuing its mission to inspire young innovators through experiential STEM education, Flyation is excited to announce the upcoming Interschool Aeromodelling Competitions scheduled for 2026. These events offer school students a valuable platform to showcase their creativity, engineering skills, and understanding of the science of flight. Participants from various schools will come together to design, build, and demonstrate model aircraft, applying the principles of aerodynamics and aviation technology in a competitive and exciting environment.

January 2027 – Tiruchirappalli Event

The Flyation Interschool Aeromodelling Competition will be hosted in Tiruchirappalli in January 2027, bringing together enthusiastic students from schools across the region.
Participants will demonstrate their Aeromodelling skills through aircraft design, assembly, and flight performance, making it a dynamic platform for innovation and hands-on learning.

August 2026 – Madurai Event

The next edition of the competition will take place in Madurai in August 2026, continuing Flyation’s tradition of promoting aviation science and STEM education among school students.
The event will provide students with an opportunity to collaborate, compete, and showcase their creativity while experiencing the thrill of model aircraft flight.
